"Using BIM technology, the relevant information of various projects can be integrated, and shared and transmitted during the entire life cycle of project planning, operation and maintenance through visualization and parameterized three-dimensional technology, so that engineering and technical personnel can The information is correctly understood and responded efficiently, providing a basis for collaborative work between the design team and the various construction entities, including the building operation unit, and playing an important role in improving production efficiency, saving costs and shortening the construction period. The RUFIJI hydropower project used to apply for awards this time is the largest hydropower station in the United Republic of Tanzania in Africa. The project requires more than 20 professional collaborations in transportation, construction, dams, hydrology, meteorology, fire protection and electromechanics. In Huang Jie's opinion, the comprehensiveness and complexity of the construction of hydropower stations precisely reflects the value of BIM technology.

Guiyang Institute of Hydropower and Hydraulic Engineering Design Institute Vice President Sun Zhenghua said that through the systematic application of BIM technology, multi-professional simultaneous and coordinated design can be achieved, improving design efficiency and quality of output of results. In just over two months, Guiyang Academy completed the basic design phase of work in accordance with the contract requirements. At the same time, the model built by BIM technology solves the pain points of incomprehensible, inaudible, and incomprehensible language exchange in international projects, enabling engineers to communicate using simple vocabulary, and avoiding bias in understanding.
