Relevant services will be launched in the near future by using mobile electronic payment methods to take public transportation in Guangzhou.

It is understood that, in order to facilitate Hong Kong residents to Guangzhou, Yangchengtong will take the lead in providing bus ride services that support electronic payment methods nationwide. In the future, Hong Kong residents only need to open the Yangcheng Express bus service on the Hong Kong version of Alipay, and they can take buses in Guangzhou. In the future, Yangchengtong will also promote the Yangchengtong APP to generate two-dimensional codes that comply with local application standards in Hong Kong, and provide cross-region payment services for Guangzhou citizens.

The reporter learned that Yangcheng Connect had previously planned a card connectivity layout in the Greater Bay Area coordinate system in advance, and successively realized cooperation with Hong Kong and Macau in 2012 and 2013. The world's first cross-border interoperability product "Lingnantong · Octopus" "Lingnantong · Macaotong" strives to promote the interconnection and interoperability of the Greater Bay Area electronic payment system.
